 About the Artist:

Connor Morgan.

"On the floor at the great divide,
with my shirt tucked in and my shoes untied."
-Sufjan Stevens

Connor grew up in Rocklin, California and has loved creating art since his childhood; whether it was doodling, drawing in chalk, or even finger painting-Connor has surrounded himself with art from the get-go. Under the instruction of Myron Stephens, Connor is constantly learning and trying new skills to improve his work. His most recent series, "Godspeed",  emphasizes on themes of humility, self-realization, and the surrounding isues that impact his faith on a day-to-day basis.

In addition to learning the various styles/techniques incorperated with painting, Connor regularly teaches a painting class at a local church where he hopes to pass on what he has learned over the course of his carrer as an artist. Furthermore, Connor has been involved with several youth art programs over at the Blue Line Gallery, where he assists a fellow artist/friend with instructional art programs directed towards elementary age students.

He is constantly in awe of the world that surrounds him, and is persuing a life of obedience, humility, and success. Besides creating art, Connor enjoys 35 mm film, frequent trips to thrift stores, a good book, and music that challenges his perspective of the world.
In the fall of 2010, Connor will be headed to Salem, Oregon, where he will travel with YWAM
(Youth With A Mission) for six months-focusing on global outreach, schooling, and the imperative issues that surround our planet.
